Little Giant Pumps: Some of the commonly used versions

Little Giant pumps are those pumps which are used for various purposes such as to move waste materials like water waste or sewage, to fill or empty out water from the aquariums, transferring the water from one place to another, irrigation such as watering the plants and for many more purposes. For these purposes there are different versions of Little Giant pumps available in the market. Some of the versions which are commonly used by the people for their daily uses are as follows:

  • Effluent Pumps: These little giant pumps are of submersible type or the pumps which are installed in the water. These pumps are double duty pumps or two stage pumps which are designed with that art that it can cater applications with high head.
  • Transfer pumps: These types of little giant pumps include both submersible and non-submersible ones. These are light weight and portable pumps. They are constructed for various purposes such as to fill or drain water from the tanks, water beds, aquariums, water heaters and all other things where there is need of transferring the water. These pumps also come in form of dewatering and transfer pumps. The former type is available in both manual and automatic models.
  • Sewage pumps: These pumps are designed in a way that these can move waste materials like sewage waste or water waste from the house. This pump is used in septic lines, septic tanks, effluent waste, waste water etc. for handling the sewage or wastes from those places.
  • Sump pump: These sump pumps are used in those applications which is used for continuous or extended purposes such as in the places like in basements, crawl spaces, cooling towers, excavation sites, underground passageways, loading docks etc. The best quality in them is that they can move great quantity of water.
  • Condensate removal pumps: These types of little giant pumps are used for discharging and accumulating the condensate. These pumps are basically designed for furnace, ACs, refrigerators, beverage machines, dehumidifiers, drinking fountains and many more appliances where water is to be removed.

These are the some commonly used versions of the Little Giant pumps. They have lot of features which make it a perfect appliance but it is advised to know about the product and its features before buying it.
