Installation of mechanical screwed PEX connection with PEX crimp tools in the following order:
* Cut PEX pipe perpendicular to its axis, leaving no burrs
* Wear crimp nut and locking the cutting ring on the end of the PEX pipe
* Insert the PEX tube inside the sleeve, it should go there all the way
* Crimp tool attached to the outer thread of responses and manually turn until it stops.
Then with a wrench it fix about 1,5-2 turnover.
In the compounds of this type, with the original elements of Uponor Wirsbo PEX, sealing is carried out by contact of metal surfaces (metal – metal) without the use of rubber seals. In this connection, the connection will always be sealed regardless of the temperature and duration of operation.
In compounds of another type, with rubber sealing elements, sealing depends on the life of seals.
At high temperatures, water (coolant), a hot water supply systems, or PEX heat transfer plate PEX radiant heating, the service life of these spacers is about 5 years.
